Award-winning rapper Kwesta will take over music show Live Amp this Friday.
The SABC 1 show will air a 30-minute special episode billed as ‘A Kwesta Special’ on Friday night at 19:30.
The Ngud’ rapper will take viewers on a journey through his career, as he talks about being independent, working with new talent and about his plan to take over the international market.
Backed by a live band, Kwesta will deliver an explosive performance of his songs Mayibabo, Nomayini, Preacher and Ngiyazifela.
According to a statement released by the show, each performance will be shot in front of an LED wall which will display exciting visuals created specifically for the show.
Furthermore, additional lighting will be brought into the studio as well as a steady cam and a Pyro cannon for a fireworks display.
