After almost missing the show, Madi arrived at Greyville, where American singers French Montana and Robin Thicke were performing. For a minute, I thought I was in Braamfontein with all the cool kids.
Upon arrival Madi was greeted by Kelly Khumalo shouting out someone's name and being generous with hugs. Her BFFs Brenda Mtambo and Thami Kotlolo tried to quickly usher her out of the VIP area. Girl was clearly lit.
The event was a hot mess, attendees were rushed out immediately after the last performance because they had to set up for the main event the next day.
The fashion left much to be desired. Mzansi stars failed to interpret the theme, "The Colour of Magic". Whatever happened to taking a fashion risk?
Somizi gets an "A" for effort, but his risk did not pay off. Liberace called and he wants his stage costume back.
K Naomi, Jessica Nkosi and Thando Thabethe's dresses were matronly and it looked like they were playing dress-up after browsing through Basetsana Kumalo's wardrobe.
We know you just got married a month ago, Linda Mtoba, but there was no need to show up in your wedding gown . At least wait until Halloween if you want to dress like a zombie bride.
Madi has to hand it to the scantly-clad Nomuzi Mabena. She can commit to a look. She froze her butt off and looked fabulous.

After throwing the biggest party at the Durban July with their Boomtown Experience they decided to starve everyone in VIP.
While the drinks were flowing there was no food. Next time keep in mind drinking hungry is a health hazard.
