One of South Africa's wealthiest radio and telly personalities Somizi Mhlongo has been slapped with a shocking R2-million tax bill.
Sunday World has learnt that the South African Revenue Service (Sars) obtained a court judgment against the Metro FM presenter in the South Gauteng High Court in November 2015.
Court documents seen show that Sars obtained judgment against the talented Idols SA presenter for failing to pay the staggering amount of more than R2.2-million.
The amount has allegedly increased to almost R2.5-million after it accrued interests between 2016 and 2017.
News of Somizi's hair-raising tax tab was revealed by an accountant who is privy to the A-lister's tax books.
