Season three of the show with bombshell Priyanka Chopra in the lead, will consist of 13 episodes.
The current season, which concluded last night stateside, was made up of 22 episodes.
According to American entertainment website Variety, ratings for season two of Quantico declined by 36% from the previous season.
Thusi, alongside actor Blair Underwood, were new additions to the cast when season two kicked off last year.
She plays the role of Dayana Mampasi, a lawyer recruited by the CIA.
