Bonang and Somizi were once the best of friends and inseparable but the Idols judge says that the pair will never be able to go back to what they once were before their explosive split.

Speaking to Anele on Real Talk with Anele this week‚ Somizi said that he felt Bonang owed him an apology for calling off their friendship. He added that he may have forgiven Bonang but he could not forget what she had done to him.

“One thing I know for sure‚ we will never go back to what we were before. I am the type where if trust is gone‚ like wrinkled paper‚ you will never iron me back. I will be civil but you will never have my private space again‚” he said.

The pair split last year after reports that Somizi had spilt the tea on Bonang’s affair with AKA to his baby mama‚ DJ Zinhle.

Somizi told Anele that he loved Bonang but felt like he was the only one in the relationship.

“She used to be my best friend. I think I loved her too much. I was too much into the relationship. It was a do or die relationship. I never thought that one day someone would come in and influence them the other way. And even if they did‚ we would be best friends and share everything together or at least give the relationship the respect and say this is what I heard you said about me.

Bonang on Metro FM resignation: 'I found out about the changes an hour before I went on air'In the wake of her shock departure from Metro FM‚ Bonang Matheba has claimed that she was told about the changes to her show an hour before she went on air.

“But when you treat me like a troll and block me‚ it means that I was the only one in the relationship- and that hurts me to this day......I loved that girl and still do. She was my Lebo Mathosa and for her to shut me out like that really hurt me‚” he said.

He said that he noticed the way that Bonang treated other people and was warned about her‚ but chose to give her the benefit of the doubt.

“I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I expected the same. We are all human. We have our ups and downs‚ our strengths and weaknesses‚” he said.

He said that he was surprised by her behaviour because he believed that she had no reason to think that he had ever tried to backstab or take advantage of her.
