If Jesus was alive he’d probably sign to Mabala Noise‚ says Big Brother star Mandla

Big Brother star and rapper Mandla Hlatshwayo has weighed in on Mabala Noise’s dominance of the local music industry‚ joking that the record label would even have signed Jesus if he was alive.

Mandla made the observation in a deep session of contemplation on Twitter this week.

 

The star went to to explain that he did not mean to be blasphemous but that everyone in the industry seemed to be signed to the label.

 

Mabala Noise surprised many late last year when they held a glitzy ceremony to announce that they had signed over a dozen of South Africa’s most popular musicians and media personalities‚ including Riky Rick‚ Nasty C‚ Major League DJs‚ Khanyi Mbau‚ Kay Sibiya‚ Letoya Makhene‚ L’vovo and Zola.

The company hit the headlines last month after a social media users suggested that the label may have bought their recent success at the Metro FM Music Awards. A claim that the record label later denied.
