WATCH: Trevor Noah gets serious with Obama

SA-born comedian Trevor Noah sat down to interview President Barack Obama on the Daily Show this week and discussed a series of crucial topics‚ including race and international diplomacy.

The hour-long interview‚ which will air in South Africa on Tuesday evening‚ was filmed at the White House recently.

In a segment from the show‚ which was uploaded by a YouTube user on Monday‚ Trevor was seen sharing a light-hearted moment with the president‚ before they discussed topics that included Donald Trump and US relations with Russia.

South African fans will be able to see the full interview when it airs on Comedy Central (DStv channel 122) on Tuesday evening at 9pm.

Trevor received massive praise a few weeks ago when he interviewed US firebrand liberal Tomi Lahren‚ with many critics saying that the interview proved that Trevor could excel in high-pressure politically sensitive interviews.
