Gospel star Brenda Mtambo is recovering at home after spending a few days in hospital for much of last week.
Taking to social media a few days ago Brenda shared a picture of herself in a hospital bed‚ however speaking to Daily Sun on Wednesday‚ the songstress confirmed that she had been discharged
“I’m feeling 100% now and I was discharged this morning‚” she told the publication.
Brenda was admitted to hospital where she was apparently treated for a kidney problem and had to undergo a series of tests.
Throughout her hospital stay the singer had been updating fans.
“Waking up in hospital is not good but God remains faithful. I don’t know how long I will be here but I know I’m going to come back stronger. I declare complete healing in Jesus’ name‚” Brenda said revealing the news.
A few days later she returned to social media to let fans know that despite her ill health‚ all she could think about was her upcoming show on November 4.
The singer’s hospital scare comes just days after she released her highly-anticipated So Much More on Friday last week.
