Jennifer Bala‚ on Wednesday evening‚ revealed that she was left “stunned” after almost running over a teenage girl driving through a green light.

Taking to her Instagram page‚ Jennifer recalled the incident: “Earlier today‚ these two teenage girls were on the side of the road and one of them literally darted out of nowhere into the middle of the road while I was driving through a green light.”

She further revealed that fortunately‚ she managed to bring her car to a halt just a few metres in front of the girl‚ who was shaken‚ adding that it also didn’t impact anyone else driving around her.

Jennifer took the opportunity to warn about road safety‚ saying it’s not just for little kids.

“Just goes to show#RoadSafety education isn’t just for little kids and you just always have to be on the alert‚” she wrote.

In December last year‚ Generations: The Legacy star Manaka Ranaka knocked down and killed a teenage schoolgirl in a car crash near the N3 highway to Durban.

Reflecting on the tragedy on Anele Mdoda’s Real Talk‚ Manaka says that she still haunted by the incident.

“I live every day with the memory of Millicent in my heart‚” she said‚ before explaining that she still gets nightmares and sometimes still feels the impact of the accident.
