Actor Tshepo Maseko has taken on a challenge to hinder the use of drugs among young people through his project‚ Sgidla Waar.

 However‚ it seems his cause has left some drug dealers disgruntled.

Speaking to DRUM‚ the seasoned actor revealed that his initiative aims to assist young people who are hooked on drugs‚ in an effort to make a positive difference in their lives.

“For me to see young lives wasted is heartbreaking‚” he told the local publication.

“Some of them come from wealthy homes where love was substituted with money‚” he added.

However‚ according to him‚ his efforts have angered drug dealers‚ who claim that he’s taking business away from them.

“I’ve been warned by some of my friends that I’m putting my life in danger‚” he revealed to DRUM‚ before pointing out that he won’t back down and that it’s a cause he’s willing to die for.

Also speaking to Move!‚ the actor told the magazine that he is determined to make a difference.

He has previously spoken of his change in career‚ saying that it is a calling that he had felt for years
