Rapper HHP has shared his disappointment at local event organisers after he claims they failed to pay all proceeds of a student fundraiser to a North West University student fund.

The artist took to Instagram over the weekend to announce that his Bokone Bophirima Party Musical Manifesto Launch show in the North West last week raised R12 500 for the North West University’s NWU fund‚ used to assist struggling students at the university.

But his joy was short lived after he got into a disagreement with the “administration” of the event for not wanting to give the whole amount raised to the fund.

“It is with great disappointment that I announce that the ‘Administration’ of #BRS in Mafikeng are still disputing giving the entire R12.5k raised at the #BBP–ManifestoLaunch to the students of #NWUFund. They still want to split it amongst stake holders‚” he wrote.

To settle the argument‚ and “cut the bullsh*t“‚ HHP told them to “keep the money.”

But not before he let all his fans and followers know what he had sacrificed in the exchange.

“I needed money for my kid’s school fees from this show‚ but all I got from the gig was 400 bucks‚ two sleeping rooms‚ four platters of food‚ two bottles of alcohol‚ two long toms of blue label‚ a six pack of water and a 20pack ya Cotleigh‚” he wrote.

An avid smoker‚ HHP said he “didn’t even have weed that night” but did probably get petrol money.

Still‚ he has apologised to the fund for the incident and has vowed to continue with #ProjectSavingMafikeng.
