This is how Kwesta got AKA and Cassper to feature on his album

It’s no secret that the biggest feud in SA music is between AKA and Cassper Nyovest‚ so it comes as no surprise that having the two rappers on the same album would cause quite a stir among hip-hop fans.

Kwesta explained that having the two featured on his latest album‚ DaKAR‚ was something he always wanted‚ despite their beef.

Speaking to Slikouronlife‚ the Ngud’ hitmaker revealed that having AKA and Cassper on the same album was not a strategic plan to hype up his album.

Instead they were just part of the list he had put together of the people he wanted to feature on DaKAR II‚ which also included rapper K.O.

“I’m cool with both the gents. I’ve always wanted to make a joint with Cassper and I’ve always wanted to do a record with AKA. I just feel like you can sell the beef all you want‚ but if the song sucks‚ the song sucks‚” he explained.

Kwesta says that it’s not about the drama for him‚ explaining that “the whole point was to make the best music possible.”
