Viola Davis says TV lies about women and never shows females of a certain age of size as sexy.

The 50-year-old actress - who plays Annalise Keating on 'How To Get Away With Murder' - insists that women who are ''above a size two'' or ''of a certain age'' are never shown to be sexy on TV and it is a disservice to females.

She told the Women in TV issue of Elle magazine: ''We've been fed a whole slew of lies about women. If you are anywhere above a size two, you're not having sex. You don't have sexual thoughts. You may not even have a vagina. And if you're of a certain age, you're off the table.''

Taraji P. Henson, 45 - who plays Cookie on 'Empire' - added that Hollywood is a tough place for black women. Speaking about her character, she said: ''It was very important to me that she not be sassy and neck-rollin' and eye-bulgin' and attitude all the time. Everything she does is coming from a place of fighting for her family. That's why she's not a caricature.''

Meanwhile, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, 55, believes there are just not enough good roles for women in Hollywood. She said: ''Go to the movies -- how many good scripts are you really seeing out there? Not tons of them.''
