HUSH presenter Refilwe Modiselle has described her nomination as one of the 12 Sowetan Mzansi's Sexiest celebrities as history in the making.

Modiselle will fight it out against her fellow television presenters Mbali Nkosi and Nomuzi Mabena, actresses Thulisile Phongolo and Buhle Samuels and Big Brother finalist Blue Mbombo to be named the sexiest women in South Africa.

"History made. That's it. That's simple. You guys are the first publication to recognise that in the history of anything that has been run in the country, you are the first to even identify a vanilla bone.

"It is history made, in such a big way," Modiselle enthused.

The six men competing to be named the sexiest hunk are presenter Cyprian Ndlovu, actors Vuyo Dabula, Oros Mampofu, Nyaniso Dzedze, Kay Sibiya and music hopeful and Big Brother alumni Katlego "K2" Mabusela.

The winners will be announced in November and the calendar featuring the Top 12 will be released in December in Sowetan.
