When a local alcohol brand launched their latest creation, they wanted to prove that when two seemingly contrasting elements combine, they can create a magical taste experience.
This is where Cassper Nyovest and singer Moneoa came in. The two were then given the task of coming up with a track which they titled ‘Monate Fela’.
"The song is a song that was powered by J&B Urban Honey. They wanted a blend of honey and I thought it would be a perfect time for me to collaborate with Moneoa because we've been friends for such a long time. We were friends before we both blew up so it was so dope for me to reach out to her and also put her in a space where she hasn't been in a long time because she has been at the soulful ballets.
"The song is actually my song, I own the song so it was just powered by them and I just make references of their brand but it’s my song and it's going to be used as a single at a later stage," Nyovest said about the single.
