As if taking part in the German dance reality TV show was not enough, South African professional dancer Otlile Mabuse is set to take the UK's Strictly Come Dancing by storm.

Mabuse, from Pretoria, is based in Germany. Last month she was part of Let's Dance, a German version of Strictly Come Dancing. Her sister, Motsi, who is also a professional dancer, was a judge on the same German show.

She was eliminated on May 15 with her partner Daniel Kublbock, who is a German pop singer.

Mabuse told Sowetan: "To finally see my dreams unfold before my eyes is such an unbelievable feeling. I'm so excited to meet the team and the other dancers."

Mabuse began dancing in South Africa as a young child, along with her sister.

She moved to Germany seeking a new challenge after being the South African Latin American champion eight times.

She studied civil engineering at tertiary level but dancing was always her true passion. She has won many titles in her dancing career including World European Latin semifinalist and World Cup Champion- ship semifinalist.
