'Suzan, sundi khumbule' is one of the performances that got everyone on their feet at the 21st South African Music Awards at Sun City on Sunday.

The trio brought a surprise singer Botlhale, who is the country's most beloved young singer.

Botlhale captured South Africans' hearts when she won SAs Got Talent in 2013.

The 13-year-old was clearly having the time of her life as she performed at her first, of possibly many SAMAs.

The other performance that caught people's attention was that of Cassper Nyovest with Prime Circle.

The Mafikeng born rapper is clearly not just blabbing when he goes on about being a 'game changer', he is indeed changing the game.

His performance at the 21st South African Music Awards (SAMA) will always be remembered as one of the best performances the awards ceremony has ever experienced.

Fellow rapper, AKA and other members of the audience continued clapping after Nyovest left the stage.

Although the two lost to KO in the most controversial category of the night 'Best Rap Album', their performances will be remembered.

Even KO recognized Nyovest's performance "Shout out to Cassper on that killer performance". It was indeed just that, 'killer performances'.

Cassper won the Best New Comer award while The Soil lost to Beatenberg in two categories including Best Duo or Group of The Year.
