To wind down awards season in South Africa, the red carpet will be rolled out on Sunday at Sun City for the SA Music Awards.
A highlight on the entertainment calendar, the glamourous event draws stars from music, TV, radio, film and even government.
It's expected to be flashy with a bling overload, what with hip-hop dominating the charts and having had such a good run in other music awards.
Paledi Segapo of Palse will be dressing performers on stage and the red carpet, including Cassper Nyovest, AKA, Duncan, Loyiso Bala, KO, KidX and Qadasi. Suzaan Heyns will dress Nyovest for his stage performance.
Television presenter Pearl Thusi will give viewers a glimpse of fashion on the red carpet during a live crossing.
To mark the 21-year milestone, the Samas will also honour veterans Mdu Masilela and Mandla Spikiri Mofokeng with lifetime achievement gongs.
On the bill to perform are stars such as L'vovo, Black Motion and Beatenberg.
Meanwhile, the radio industry honours its hard-working stars at the Sandton Convention Centre on Saturday night.
