Musician Winnie Khumalo has fallen on hard times again.

After her record label dropped her, n ow two of her cars have been repossessed and are to be auctioned off.

Attorney Meshack Ndobela, who represents Boiphihlelo Trading CC Execution Creditor, which loaned Khumalo R20000 in August 2013, has confirmed that the BMWs, a 1996 and a 2001 model, will be going under the hammer.

"The matter was taken to court and the auction is later this month. I'm acting against her." Ndobela declared.

Khumalo didn't deny that she once owed the company, but insisted that she paid them back.

"I took a loan because I was hosting an event. I just failed to pay on time," she said.

Khumalo denied that the two cars had been repossessed, instead insisting that only one had been taken from her.

"The one they took was actually my daughter's car. I could've been sleg (nastier), gotten an affidavit and changed the ownership to my daughter, but I didn't," she said.

Khumalo sent a fax of deposit slips showing payments amounting to R18 060. But Ndobela insisted that the sherriff only received R5000 "but that was nothing compared to the money she owes".

Ndobela said Khumalo owed around R30 000 which includes advocate and sherriff fees and interest on the loan.

The repossession of her cars comes a few weeks after reports that she had left her stable Kalawa Jazzmee, who she accused of not paying enough attention to her career.

Gastor Serumula of Kalawa Jazmee confirmed that the musician has parted ways with the company which resurrected her career in 2010.
