DJ Zinhle to host Pink Revolution Conference for women

Six years on and 500 graduates later, DJ Zinhle’s Fuse Academy is still going strong.

The company, founded by Ntombezinhle Jiyane aka DJ Zinhle and her business partner Nomndeni Mdakhi celebrates its sixth year  by introducing the first ever all females attendee one day conference, The Pink Revolution.

The Pink Revolution will take place on 06 March 2015 at Melrose Arch. The event’s main aim is to empower females in the entertainment industry.

It will cover topics such as Artist Development, Media and the Entertainment industry as well as music in the digital age.

“These are the conversations that we wish someone would have had with us when we were starting out, even now, we wish we could have these kind of conversations everyday,” Jiyane told True Love magazine.

Jiyane hopes the one day conference which is only open 150 delegates will one day be able to accommodate 5000 female delegates over a few days.

Women who attend the event will get to interact and get expert advice from industry greats such as DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Oskido, Khuli Chana, KO, Greg Maloka (Kaya FM MD), AKA and Zakes Bantwini (executive head of A&R for Sony Music.

“It’s a powerful panel and everyone was carefully selected with the intention to equip the delegates with as much information as possible”, says DJ Zinhle.
