Within two years in the entertainment industry musician Moneoa has learned that you can’t be an emotional being because nobody cares.

She has learned to be strong and trust no one.

“You can’t get emotional, you don’t really have friends, I am a really passionate person and if I love you I love you.”

She spoke of her mistakes when she entered the industry and counts investing in emotions as a waste of time.

“I made a mistake of investing my emotions into friendships in the industry, people are not genuine and they are fake and get caught up in this fantasy and lose being real.

“I have learned to not expect much from people. Love and respect them but be selective with what you say.

“Be careful with how you carry yourself around people” Moneoa says.

The neo soul singer recently released her second album titled Ndimlo

“I am who I am and I wanted to express more of what I withhold on my debut album.”

Moneoa released her single and a music video for Yekelela.

She says she isn’t the type to portray a rich life when shooting videos.

“I am not about shooting expensive music videos with expensive wheels. I am not rich, I will not put pressure on myself.

“I am still a human being and I refuse to succumb to peoples expectations.”
