Idris Elba dated 19-year-old woman at 14

Idris Elba has revelaed he once dated a 19-year-old woman when he was 14 years old and used to pretend he was driving to work when in fact he was going to school.

The 41-year-old actor - who has been dating partner Naiyana Garth since last year - has claimed he seduced the ''beautiful'' woman when he was a youngster by pretending he was actually far older. Idris said: ''It was a good life, man. She didn't know I was 14. Her name was Judith. She was lovely, she was beautiful.''

The 'Luther' star confessed he had to lie to the woman and his parents on a regular basis in order to keep his affair a secret. As well as telling his parents that he was staying at a mate's house when he was with his sweetheart, the young lothario practised his acting skills to hide his schoolboy status. He reminisced: ''In the morning I would say, 'I'm going to work.' I'd drive off, and I'm actually going to school.''

However, the situation almost got the actor and musician into a sticky situation when his beau saw him doing his homework and he had to make up an excuse on the spot. He is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: ''I remember one time I had some homework I had to take care of and was around at her house. ''She was like, 'Why do you have this homework?' and I was like, 'Uh, my boss makes me do his children's homework'.''
