Thato Molamu is proving that 'when one door closes, another one opens'.

Actor Thato Molamu better known as Nicholas Nomvete on Generations has little to cry over after landing a presenting gig on SABC 2.

Sowetan Live discovered via instagram that the actor is over the moon, as days draw near to his first gig on a game show titled ‘What’s behind the Wall’ set to start in September.

Excited about his first show he wrote: “My journey into Presenting my First Game Show ever as an Artist #WhatsBehindTheWall. Launching in #September #7pmSlot and I'm exited about this new venture. Look Out for it.”

On the other hand, Molamu is one of the actors dismissed from the popular soapie after failing to pitch for work since last Monday.

The 29 year old is also a radio presenter on Voice of Thembisa (VOT) FM and currently studying for a Business Degree.

Generations will continue to broadcast: SABC
