Muvhango lead actress Maumela Mahuwa known for her role as Susan is not leaving the weekly SABC 2 soap.
SABC 2 publicist Lebo Malete has poured cold water on rumours of Mahuwa’s departure from the popular Tshivhenda show.
“There is no truth in articles written about Maumela leaving the soapie, she is still part of the Muvhango team, there was no statement whatsoever issued out to the public.”
Maumela Mahuwa who plays the role of Chief Azwindini Mukwevho’s wife has been with the soap since its debut in 1997.
The reports over the weekend stated that Mahuwa had decided to quit her acting job in order to focus on her work as a Pastor.
However being a pastor and preaching the word of God has always been part of the actress’ lifestyle.
