King of Kwaito and music prodigy, Arthur Mafokate will soon be entertaining you on your screens again with a new reality talent search TV show on SABC 1.

The former judge of popular reality TV dance show Step Up or Step Out,  Arthur  Mafokate, has partnered with Nampak Bevcan and the ‘CAN DO’ brand inspired by the desire to develop creative talents amongst the youth.

The TV show titled U CAN DO IT is based on molding the success of fresh music talent in youngsters who will form the next BIG SA music group.

The 13 episode reality show will air every Tuesday evening starting 7 May to 30 July 2013.

25 contestants will be identified from auditions starting today 5 April 2013 until tomorrow in Newtown, Bassline.  

Mafokate as the innovator of the show says he is excited to be reliving his passion of finding talent through a reality TV show.

“I want to relive the life of Arthur, starting in the industry I was crazy about music and dance. Music is a career this will give someone who has the same dreams a chance to showcase their talent".

“Introducing new talent is something I have always had in me.

“I discovered incredible talent like Mandoza, Lira, Chomee, Joe Nina, Jeff Maluleke, Speedy they have come so far,” he says.

If U CAN DO IT this show will see winning hit making music group off with a whopping R150 000 cash as well as a recording deal with Universal Records.
