Beyonce and Jay-Z to buy Neverland ranch

Beyonce and Jay-Z are reportedly looking to buy late King of Pop Michael Jackson's famous Neverland ranch in California which is worth £18.7 million.

The 'Love on Top' singer and her rapper husband were given a tour of the £18.7 million ranch in Santa Barbara, California by owner Thomas Barack Jr, according to The Sun newspaper.

The famous 3,000-acre ranch - which was named after the fictitious magical island in children's story 'Peter Pan' - was home to the late King of Pop between 1988 and 2005 and has largely been abandoned since the singer's death in 2009.

Beyonce, 31, and Jay-Z, 43, spend most of the time in the rapper's home state of New York with their 13-month-old daughter Blue Ivy, but also spend some months as a family in Beyonce's hometown of Houston, Texas.

Meanwhile, the 'Single Ladies' hitmaker opened up about her marital life in an interview with Oprah Winfrey on Saturday (16.02.13), telling the talk show host that she "would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man".

Appearing on 'Oprah's Next Chapter', she said: "You know we were friends first for a year and a half before we went on any date - on the phone for a year and a half. And that foundation is so important in a relationship. And just to have someone that you just like is so important and someone that is honest."

Beyonce also starred in a self-produced HBO documentary, 'Life is but a Dream', which aired in the US on Saturday and gave fans a rare glimpse into her life.
