Chomee releases patriotic Bafana Bafana video for Afcon

DANCING and singing sensation Chomee - real name Thulisile Madihlaba - of Kwaito King Arthur Mafokate's 999 Music stable, has joined the Africa Cup of Nations tourney fever with a catchy, patriotism-whipping video, titled Score Dem Goals.
Chomee's video has received about 200 YouTube views, and is also receiving a lot of radio airplay.
The 3 minute 30 second video was posted on YouTube on Wednesday, two hours before Bafana Bafana's victory over Angola.
Score Dem Goals features up-and-coming rapper. Kopano, Mafokate and 999 Music's dancers, all of whom are clad in Bafana Bafana gear, with Chomee waving the colourful South African flag and blowing a vuvuzela at a stadium.
"Score Dem Goals is just my way of supporting the boys" says the energetic singer, who is also a die-hard Kaizer Chiefs.
"Bafana Bafana has done very well in both matches and I enjoyed every bit especially the one I attended when I shot my video. "
Orlando Pirates striker Benni McCarthy has also released a musical recording aimed at uniting soccer fans.
The 36-year-old soccer star-turned-rapper has released a rap single titled Viva Africa, which he has dedicated to "Team Bafana" and the Africa Nations Cup tournament.
He has also recorded another single called Amabhakabhaka, a tribute to Orlando Pirates supporters for welcoming and supporting him throughout his career at the team.
