BARELY a month after allegedly being sacked from her lifestyle show, Bonang Matheba has joined the high-profile Top Billing TV programme on SABC3.
She was flaunted on Tuesday's episode in an insert that looked at how she puts her look together for the red carpet.
Matheba has been hinting on social network sites that she has a "big announcement" to make.
Top Billing executive producer Patience Stevens says: "Top Billing is one of the leading shows on South African television with regards to social media presence and Twitter followings.
"Matheba will bring her own distinctive charm and pizzazz, her love of fashion, glamour and travel and her strong youth audience. Her loyal Twitter followers will also complement the existing viewership perfectly," Stevens says.
Matheba's legion of fans can expect to see her globe-trotting in her quest to keep up with her new presenter job and how she makes the transition to a mature audience.
Yesterday Matheba tweeted: "@Bonang_M Yaaaaaaay!! Now you know ... I'm your new Top Billing presenter ... Catch my 1st episode on Tuesday, Dec 11th, 8pm on SABC3."
