Sharon Osbourne has hinted that she will not return for a new series of 'America's Got Talent'.

The feisty wife of Ozzy Osbourne responded to a tweet from fellow judge Howard Stern which suggested she wanted more money for a new series of the reality TV show ,with one claiming salary is not the reason she is leaving.

Howard wrote "#AGT update: @HowardStern isn't sure if he'll do another season and says Sharon Osbourne may not come back unless she gets more money (sic)."

Meanwhile, Sharon answered" My darling @HowardStern. Money is not the reason I'm not returning to @nbcagt, it's because..."

However, she did not add anything else so it is unclear if she has left or is merely joking.

Howie Mandel is the third judge alongside the pair and Stern, who replaced Piers Morgan, recently revealed he had been asked back but was weighing up his options.

He said: "I said, you know, let me just see what it's like to do the radio show and 'AGT'at the same time. So, I'll be finding that out this week. I really like doing the show though. I really like being a part of it."
