This concept was developed by Top South African and International TV presenter, Jo-Ann Strauss to take the 'ish' out of the dreary, tiring long days standing in queues in high heels, and sweating away a perfectly made-up face.

This will the be the first time a concept like this is introduced in Africa and has already been successful in the UK with Channel 4 choosing an online reporter from thousands of entries submitted. The winner in the UK (Sydney Jo Jackson) has joined the team from Channel 4, a channel which has produced some of the UK’s best international presenting exports like international style icon Alexa Chung.

The top 4 presenter search candidates will be joining Jo-Ann Strauss and Bonang Matheba on a weekend mentoring session in terms of TV presenting and will shoot their own travelogue style inserts on the lodge and the activities in the area (elephant safaris, river-rafting, tiger fishing, game drives, bungee-jumping, etc.) Contestants would shoot this on their cellphones – or potentially their Blackberry devices. 

The winner receives the new Blackberry Torch 9810 and a Blackberry Playbook. The prize would be a relaxed weekend for 2 at the lodge, Blackberry devices as well as an opportunity to be a guest presenter in an upcoming TV production.
