SHE looks stunning and could easily be mistaken for a model or a beauty queen.
To keep that stunning body R&B artist Jae keeps herself physically fit by playing soccer with other girls at Randburg Stadium in Johannesburg every Sunday.
Jae is neither a model nor does she take part in beauty pageants. She is a singer who is fast making an impression on the R&B scene - with two albums out so far.
Her latest, Inner Voice, is causing waves on the airwaves and dance floors at the moment.
The Durban singer's new album was produced by Liquid Deep, the sensational R&B outfit South African music fans have come to embrace.
Jae became a pop sensation when her debut solo single, Missing You, achieved several No 1 spots in 2002 on various radio stations.
The single sold more than 40 000 copies. The song was written in memory of her sister, niece and nephew, who died in a car accident.
Just recently the eclectic R&B queen brought the house down with her performance on e.tv's Step Up Or Step Out in which she was chosen as the first Artist of the Week on the popular dance show.
Jae is without doubt one of South Africa's most celebrated artists. Her music and performances have an international feel, often accompanied by a full band and-or professional dancers.
Nothing can stop this pop diva from taking her music to the next level.
Jae is the first artist in the history of the South African music industry to obtain Gold and Platinum status in the sales of her self-penned debut single Missing You.
"With this album I realised my dream of becoming an independent artist. It became a success because my manager and I worked very hard at the time, going around the country performing, thus promoting it.
"I also learnt good work ethics when I went to perform in Asia, where all my shows were fully booked. I was performing six days a week in clubs," she said.
Jae has since performed with high profile international artists since then. She featured as a supporting act on R&B superstar Usher Raymond's 8701 Tour in November 2002 and also performed at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday bash.
She has also performed at the Miss India Worldwide pageant and for the Jerry Springer Saturday Night Live Show in SA.
In February Jae opened for internationally acclaimed R&B artist Jay Sean when he performed in Durban. She is also the ambassador for the newest international Dance 4 Life campaign and facilitates the running of the Jae Dance Academy in Wentworth, Durban.
