FOLLOWING a successful run, the music show Music Moves Me returns to SABC2 tomorrow for the second season.

The youth-targeted programme that is presented by Raphael "pretty boy" Griffiths starts at 4.30pm.

The show is back to expose and give platform to local talent.

SABC2 publicist Lebo Malete said Music Moves Me is a very fresh, lively and engaging musical show.

Malete said the show will continue to probe music's influence on character exploration, sussing out the local entertainment industry.

"The show also celebrates Mzansi's musical talents, and inspires a new generation of musos to be proud about local sound.

The show uses a couch as the hotspot where musicians are interviewed and also takes top 10 requests from viewers via e-mails or SMSes. "

Malete said the new series of Music Moves Me promises to be highly entertaining.

"The return of M3 will work wonders for the show if the first season is anything to go by," Malete said.

"We have kept almost everything the same, and we will have more entertainers on the show moving a notch up from the first season.

"Having Raphael on board again shows our confidence in him and we are certain that he will take from where he left off in the first season."

Born 21-years-ago, he debuted on television with the new SABC2 teen programme Qbase28.

He has also backed musicians such as Rebecca Malope and Da Les (from acclaimed local act Jozi).
