Mr Magic inspires young people

HAVING changed many young people's lives in KwaZulu-Natal, motivational speaker Linda Sibiya is bringing his Magic Tour to Johannesburg.

Sibiya, a radio DJ, has taken his Magic Tour to universities talking to students since 2006. The tour seeks to, and is succeeding in, motivating young people and popularising developmental programmes that are relevant to them.

Sibiya, who is also known as Mr Magic, starts his Gauteng journey at the Vaal University of Technology tomorrow.

On September 3 he will be at the University of South Africa in Pretoria. Then it is off to Tshwane University of Technology in Soshanguve on September 10.

He will end the tour at the University of Johannesburg, Kingsway campus, on September 17.

The Magic Tour is motivational music show that seeks to address issues affecting young people at tertiary institutions and in their families. It has been used as a vehicle to deliver positive messages and to help to create future leaders

Since its inception the tour has reached about 125000 students in KwaZulu-Natal.

This tour will impact on and regenerate youthful energies and mould young people for a brighter future. It will also help them to become good role models to their peers.

Through the Magic Tour Sibiya shares his experiences and seeks to inspire young people to work harder to achieve their goals and be the best they can be.

In KwaZulu-Natal Sibiya has motivated students at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban, the Durban University of Technology, the University of Zululand and the Mangosuthu University of Technology.

Entertainment will be provided by JR, Jozi, Slikour, Lvovo, Beezory, Teargas, Msawawa, Liquid Deep, Sfiso Ncwane, Big Nuz, Theo and Malaika. The show is free.
