The strike at SA Breweries (SAB) is over, the company said on Tuesday.
"We are most pleased that we have reached an agreement with the Food and Allied Workers' Union (Fawu) which ends the strike at SAB," said managing director Mauricio Leyva.
The deal was reached on Monday night.
"The agreement means that the company's average wage increase of seven percent with performance-related pay will be implemented, which will raise the average monthly pay for shift workers by R1196 to R18,283."
"We will now focus on welcoming those employees who went on strike back to work, ensuring that we fully normalise our operations, and developing our future relationship with the union," he said.
Salaries and wages for bargaining unit workers would be backdated to July 1. The principle of no work no pay would be applied to all those who had been on strike.
Fawu spokeswoman Dominique Swartz confirmed that an agreement was reached on Monday night.
"The settlement agreement was reached last night. We will release details later," she said.
