Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng is our charmza for declaring the withholding of information on private funding of political parties as unconstitutional.

He ruled that the Promotion of Access to Information Act was unconstitutional because it did not provide for the disclosure to allow voters the freedom of choice.

The declaring of information on private funding is "essential for the effective exercise of the right to make political choices", he said in his ruling.
