Reports have been doing the rounds that Muvhango actress; Maumela Mahuwa who plays Susan, will be leaving the soapie.
However SABC 2 Publicist, Lebo Malete, has laid the rumours to rest.
“There is no truth in articles written about Maumela leaving the soapie, she is still part of the Muvhango team, there was no statement whatsoever issued out to the public,” he said.
Reports had said her departure was because the Maumela wanted focus on being a pastor and preaching.
“The actress will continue being a pastor and preaching, but this will in no way affect her role on SABC 2’s hit drama, Muvhango,” Malete added.
Maumela plays one of Chief Azwindini Mukwevho's wives on the Tshivenda soapie.
