Kizito Ruhamnye will not see the third round when he squares up against Flo "The Panther" Simba at Turffontein Racecourse's Hall, Johannesburg, tomorrow evening.
The pair meet on the bill of a tournament by In The Ring Promotion.
Vouching for Simba's power yesterday was John Tshabalala, the former Gauteng junior middleweight champion, who is gradually making his name as a boxing trainer.
"I saw Ruhamnye once in action, on television, and he is a come-forward fighter who swings a lot," Tshabalala said.
"He changes from southpaw to orthodox to try to confuse his opponent. We will give him the first round before knocking him out in the second."
Tshabalala guided Simba to a fourth-round stoppage win - his first after a three-year hiatus due to poor health - against Joshua Pretorius in Boksburg last month.
Simba is a former IBO Youth heavyweight champion who is managed by Patrick Bonyeme.
Ruhamnye, Cape Town-based Congolese fighter, has so far won only one fight in SA, against Justice "Venda Viper" Siliga, in November 2016.
Siliga collapsed in the dressing room due to dehydration after a bout fought in 34°C heat inside a marquee at Rosettenville, Johannesburg.
Kizito lost to Ruann "Giant King" Visser in June last year before suffering another defeat to his homeboy Knife Didier in September.
He lost both fights in Cape Town by knockouts.
In another bout, Raymond Kupula will take on Nkosinathi Biyela over six rounds.
