Tunisia have identified two potential dates for a friendly international against Bafana Bafana but have not yet reached an agreement with the SA Football Association or any other country.

The Tunisians, pooled in Group B with Zambia, Cape Verde and DR Congo for the Africa Cup of Nations, have only so far confirmed a friendly with Bafana Group C opponents Algeria on January 11. But they have said they are keeping January 7 and 12 - the day after the Algeria meeting - open for friendlies against other nations.

What makes them an attractive opponent for SA is that they play a similar style to Algeria and would be a good warm-up for Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba ahead of the finals meeting with the Algerians on January 19.

Tunisia's Belgian coach Georges Leekens laid out the country's preparation plans, which starts with a camp that runs from December 22 to 30 that will include their home-based players. The side will leave for Afcon finals in Equatorial Guinea on January 14.

SA have only set up one friendly so far - a January 4 meeting with Zambia at Orlando Stadium.
