ORLANDO Pirates utility player Oupa "Ace" Manyisa has finally been rewarded with a Bafana Bafana call-up for his lion-hearted display at club level.
The revered midfielder has been included in the Bafana squad for an international friendly against Burkina Faso at Ellis Park Stadium on Wednesday night.
Manyisa will stand in for injured Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane.
Letsholonyane was withdrawn after sustaining a knee injury when Bucs beat Chiefs 4-3 on penalties in the Black Label Carling Cup on Saturday. Coach Pitso Mosimane is using Wednesday's game to help fine-tune the team for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger away on September 2 or 3.
Manyisa was hailed by Dutch legend Ruud Gullit after his five-star display against Chiefs on Saturday.
