Bafana Bafana star defender Siyabonga Sangweni is now a property of reigning Premiership champions Orlando Pirates
Pirates chairperson Irvin “The Iron Duke” Khoza has confirmed that Sangweni joined Bucs on a three-year deal from Lamontville Golden Arrows.
The much sought after Sangweni’s move to Pirates is a swap deal which saw Katlego “Mahoota” Mashego and Gert Schalkwyk joining Arrows.
“We are delighted to announce that Siyabonga has joined the club following lengthy negotiations with Golden Arrows, we have been eyeing him for almost two seasons,” Khoza said.
