GENOA - A Serbian fan was jailed yesterday for instigating a riot at a European Championship qualifier in Italy in October. He received a sentence of three years, three months.
Ivan Bogdanov climbed on to a barrier separating fans from the field and launched fireworks onto the pitch, encouraging other Serbia fans to do the same.
