PARIS - World cycling chief Pat McQuaid called for patience yesterday as he faced queries about the fate of reigning Tour de France champion Alberto Contador.
Contador won his third yellow jersey in July, only for his world to come crashing down three weeks ago when he announced a positive test for banned substance clenbuterol.
