EFF election campaign disqualified for inciting racial violence against whites

An Economic Freedom Fighters Tshwane ward councillor candidate‚ Thabo Mabotja‚ has been disqualified from the local government nomination list after he called for white people to be "hacked and killed".

The offending utterances were made on Facebook.

The decision was made by the Electoral Court on Friday.

The EFF has already distanced itself from Mabotja's comments.
