Four suspects in court in connection with Northcliff family murders

Four men arrested in connection with the robbery and murder of a Northcliff family appeared in court on Monday.

Lesley Mokgadi‚ 35‚ Robert Maluleke‚ 28‚ Japan Malatjie‚ 28‚ and Lechani Mlambo‚ 28‚ appeared briefly before the Johannesburg Magistrate’s court.

They face charges of murder‚ kidnapping‚ theft and house robbery with intent to rob.

They are due back in court on Monday for a formal bail application.

Greg‚ 57‚ Melanie‚ 51‚ and Rakiel Naidoo‚ 23‚ disappeared from their home in Northcliff‚ Johannesburg‚ after the robbery last week.

Police later found three burnt bodies that were believed to be theirs in Centurion.

The arrests took place on Wednesday night and Thursday morning‚ according to the police.
