WATCH: Mcebisi Jonas admits Guptas offered him Finance minister's job

I was approached by non-governmental individuals in respect of the position of Minister of Finance. Members of the Gupta family offered me the position of Minister of Finance to replace then-Minister Nene. I rejected this out of hand.

Deputy Finance Minister Mcebisi Jonas confirmed on Wednesday evening that the Gupta family had offered him the position of finance minister to replace Nhlanhla Nene but that he had rejected it out of hand.
