The Economic Freedom Fighters’ student body has come out in support of its members of parliament who effectively closed the Parliamentary session on Thursday with their chanting of “pay back the money”.
“The EFF is the only party leaving to the expectation of its masses in making sure that Jacob Zuma pays the money stolen from the state coffers‚” the president of EFF Student Command‚ Mpho Morolane‚ said in a statement on Friday.
“The EFF is the only party that is defending the integrity of parliament and the constitution.”
The student body said President Jacob Zuma “cares more about his chickens and cows than the people who leave in poverty stricken areas of Nkandla” and “he is building a swimming pool worth a million rand while many families do not have flushing toilets”.
