Twenty-two-year-old American student Michael Johnson is facing serious jail time over charges of knowingly infecting his sexual partners with HIV.
According to cbsnews.com, Johnson was who was already facing 5 charges of ‘transmitting’ the disease in October last year may now have more charges added after it emerged that he had allegedly secretly filmed some of his sexually acts.
In the videos which were obtained by the police, Johnson is reportedly seen having sex with at least 31 different women, the paper reports.
“It’s safe to say that numerous videos were taken inside his dorm room; we know that because we recognize the furniture”, St. Charles County prosecutor Tim Lohmar was quoted saying.
The police who believe that the women in the videos were unaware of the filming or Johnson’s status are now working to identify the women.
Johnson remains behind bars and potential victims have been urged to come forward immediately, kmov.com reports.
If found guilty Johnson could be sentenced to life in prison.
