ABOUT 5000 delegates at the 24th ANC Youth League congress in Midrand on Thursday refused to stop singing songs calling for Julius Malema to be elected for a second term as president.

The chanting and singing reached such intensity that Malema was forced to call for order.

"Can we respond in an ANC manner, not becoming factional," he said after delegates shouted "Juju, Juju" as he greeted them. "No one is going to disrupt this conference in my name," Malema said.
