A GROUP of weed-smoking voters in Linden, Johannesburg, decided that early celebrations were in order because it was a known fact that the ANC was going to win.

Sporting beer cans in one hand and weed pipes in the other, the group stood outside the Franklin D Roosevelt Primary School in Linden, Johannesburg, yesterday eager to party the night away.

"We finished vote. You going to vote, no need ... Msholozi's already won," Padlock Mahlangu said.

"Comrade, this is celebration time. Have a dop. We went early to the shebeen and cleared it out," he says.

Nearby in a bakkie plastered with ruling party posters, the group had several crates of liquor.
