NO-NONSENSE Ukhozi FM manager Welcome "Bhodloza" Nzimande was hailed a peacemaker, a credible boss and a legend as he exited the media industry.
Nzimande, who worked at the SABC for 32 years and rose to Ukhozi FM manager, was given a farewell fit for a king at Durban's Inkosi Albert Luthuli Convention Centre on Friday.
Politicians, including KwaZulu-Natal Premier Zweli Mkhize and KZN legislature deputy speaker Mtholephi Mthimkhulu, graced the event.
Maskandi artists like Ihhashi Elimhlophe, Phuzekhemisi and Ladysnith Black Mabazo gave stunning performances at the event.
